Producer Nishant Ujjwal’s Film “My Pride of Bhojpuri” Wins Best Film Award
The grand inauguration of the 19th Bhojpuri Film Awards (BFA) was conducted by Uttar Pradesh’s Industry Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi.
Mumbai: At the 19th Bhojpuri Film Awards (BFA), Power Star Pawan Singh won the Best Actor award for his blockbuster movie Bewafa Sanam, while Anjana Singh took home the Best Actress award for her performance in Singh Sahab: The Rising. In the Best Film category, the award was presented to producer Nishant Ujjwal’s My Pride of Bhojpuri.
This year’s award ceremony glittered with the presence of Bhojpuri film industry stars and dignitaries. The evening was made memorable by stunning performances from top artists like Ritesh Pandey, Samar Singh, Tanu Shree, Anara Gupta, Kajal Yadav, and Aparna Malik, who set the stage on fire with their energetic moves.
Hosts Pandit Prem Prakash Dubey, Raj Soni, Ratnesh Singh, Preeti Maurya, Harshit Murti, Sayana Singh, K.K. Goswami, Dev Singh, and Anjana Singh added charm and humor, making the event lively and entertaining for all.
The Grand Opening Ceremony
The prestigious event was held at Atharva College in Mumbai and inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Industry Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi. During his speech, the minister emphasized taking the Bhojpuri film industry to greater heights. The event was graced by notable figures, including Padma Bhushan awardee Udit Narayan, IMPPA President Abhay Sinha, IMPPA Patron T.P. Aggarwal, actors Surendra Pal Singh and Kunal Singh, Bihar MLA Vinay Bihari, Hemant Pandey, and Shailesh Srivastava.
Vinod Kumar Gupta, founder of the Bhojpuri Film Awards, extended his gratitude to the minister and appreciated his constant support for Bhojpuri artists and the Purvanchal community. He highlighted that the awards celebrate Bhojpuri cinema’s achievements and aim to bring it closer to mainstream recognition.
