“Maa, Proud of Bhojpuri” Wins Best Film Award
Mumbai, December 14, 2024: The 19th Bhojpuri Film Awards (BFA), a prestigious celebration of Bhojpuri cinema, was held with grandeur in Mumbai. Uttar Pradesh’s Minister of Industries, Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, inaugurated the ceremony. He was joined by prominent personalities including Padma Bhushan recipient Udit Narayan, IMPPA President Abhay Sinha, IMPPA Patron TP Aggarwal, actors Surendra Pal Singh and Kunal Singh, and Bihar MLA Vinay Bihari.
Vinod Kumar Gupta, the founder of the awards, welcomed the Honorable Minister and appreciated his consistent support for Bhojpuri cinema. He remarked, “Nandi Ji has always championed the cause of Bhojpuri artists and the people of Purvanchal. His presence here is a great inspiration for the entire industry.”
