Riding on this momentum, Prime Video and The Viral Fever (TVF) have officially greenlit Season 5, which is scheduled to release in 2026.
Record-Breaking Global Reach and Viewership
In its launch week alone, Panchayat Season 4 was streamed in over 180 countries and across 95% of India’s pin codes, showcasing its massive and growing fanbase. The show also featured in the Top 10 Trending Titles on Prime Video in over 42 countries, including the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and the UAE.
In India, it trended at #1 on Prime Video during its launch and reaffirmed its deep cultural resonance with viewers nationwide.
Season 5 Development Officially Underway
Encouraged by the overwhelming response to Season 4, Prime Video and TVF have confirmed that Season 5 is already in development, promising a return to the heartwarming village of Phulera in 2026.
Since its debut in 2018, Panchayat has earned both critical acclaim and fan loyalty. Season 2 was even honored with the Best Web Series (OTT) Award at the 54th International Film Festival of India in 2023.
