New Delhi: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has released a short notification for recruitment to Trade Apprentice posts. According to the notification, the application process will begin from September 15, 2025, and will continue until October 16, 2025. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official website powergrid.in. Applicants must carefully check the eligibility criteria before submitting their forms.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have completed 10th / ITI / BE / B.Tech / B.Sc / Diploma in relevant fields are eligible to apply.

Applicants need to upload scanned copies of:

Apprenticeship registration/enrollment number under NATS/NAPS with a fully updated profile.

Educational certificates and mark sheets.

Proof of age (Matriculation certificate, Aadhaar card, Passport, etc.).

Caste certificate (if applicable) as per Government of India format.

Cancelled cheque/passbook (for DBT-enabled bank account).

Recent passport-size photograph and signature.
Selection Process

No exam or interview will be conducted.

Candidates will be shortlisted purely based on educational qualifications.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.

Final merit list will be prepared after DV, and selected candidates will be appointed to the available posts.

The apprenticeship will be for a period of 12 months (1 year).
