New Delhi, September 11, 2025 – Poet and legal researcher Sudip Chandra Halder has been awarded the prestigious Bharat Pratibha Samman 2025, a national recognition celebrating individuals who have made a lasting cultural and social impact. The ceremony was held at the Prime Ministers’ Museum in New Delhi.

Honoring a Scholar and Poet

Halder, currently pursuing Law at Banaras Hindu University, has emerged as a powerful literary voice of his generation. His works blend legal scholarship with profound social reflection, earning him admiration in both academic and literary circles.

The award was presented by Shri Anurag Thakur, Member of Parliament and former Union Minister, who commended the honorees for strengthening Bharat’s intellectual and cultural identity.

The event was further dignified by the presence of Padma Shri awardees Dr. Kamal Kumar Shethi and Smt. Shovana Narayan, who praised the initiative for recognizing genuine talent across diverse fields.

In 2025, the council honored 25 achievers from different walks of life. Each recipient was presented with a specially crafted memento and citation, modeled on the Padma Shri, symbolizing the responsibility of creativity in nation-building.
