The Bhojpuri Film Awards were initiated in 2005 by founder-president Vinod Kumar Gupta. Since then, the ceremony has annually honored remarkable work in Bhojpuri cinema. This year marks the 19th edition of the prestigious event, celebrating films released between January 1 and December 31, 2023, in cinemas or on satellite channels. As always, the awards are jury-based, with winners selected by an expert panel.
