Bihar’s Babli Raj Becomes Judge on First Attempt, Bags 8th Rank

Babli Raj, hailing from Arrah, Bihar, has achieved the remarkable feat of becoming a judge by securing the 8th rank in the Bihar Judicial Services Examination. Originally from the Jagdishpur area in Sripur, Babli’s family settled in Arrah in 1984 when her grandfather purchased a house near the Sadar Block Office. Babli’s schooling was completed in Arrah, but her higher education took place in Patna. She pursued her intermediate studies, BA LLB at Chanakya Law College, and then an LLM, earning a spot in the top 10 on her very first attempt at the judicial examination.

Early Determination to Pursue Law

Babli shared that her goal of becoming a judge took root during her law studies. With this ambition in mind, she balanced college and coaching, dedicating herself to self-study. Her hard work bore fruit when she ranked 8th in the Bihar Judicial Services Exam, filling her family and relatives with immense joy. As the results were announced, relatives and friends began visiting her home to congratulate her on her success.

Academic Journey and Achievements

Babli completed her early education at DAV School in Arrah, passing her matriculation exam in 2013. She then attended Park Mount Public School in Noida, where she completed her intermediate studies. Afterward, she earned her LLB degree from Chanakya Law University in 2021 and pursued her LLM from Patna University, graduating in 2023.

At just 26 years old, Babli cleared the judicial services exam on her first attempt, securing the 8th rank statewide. Her father, Dharmendra Kumar Yadav, is a government school teacher, while her mother, Dr. Neelam Singh, serves as an assistant professor in the psychology department at Sahajanand Brahmashree College in Arrah.

A Family of Achievers

Babli’s family has always supported her ambitions. Her elder brother, Vivek Raj, works as a project engineer for Patna Metro, while her younger sister, Soumya Raj, is preparing for competitive exams after completing her graduation. Babli’s parents, proud of her success, revealed that she has always been academically gifted, consistently topping her classes and winning gold medals in various competitions.

Babli’s journey from excelling in school to securing a top rank in the judicial exam highlights her determination and hard work. Her story is an inspiration to many, proving that with focus and perseverance, even the toughest challenges can be overcome.
