Their new show, Dil Ko Rafu Karr Lei, which is releasing on the official YouTube page of the banner, is the show that we have all been waiting for.
The trailer of the show, which featured Karan V Grover and Ayesha Khan in the lead role, has received major love from the audience, not just in India but in our neighbouring countries too. Their Instagram handle is flooded with compliments to the show for being a limited series in a country that is obsessed with infinite series and then for the tone of the show that is subtle yet so powerful as it explores the complexities of a married couple’s life that has hardly ever been touched upon.
The trailer starts with Ishan sipping on champagne and asking his wife Nikki to open a present that he bought for her. But she looks quite upset seeing it and tells him that she only wants love from him instead of these materialistic things. He replies that he can give her all the luxuries and wealth, but he has spent all the love that he had. She assures him that he can still fall in love as her mother tells her that people fall in love even after marriage. However, he responds that for her, marriage means love, but for him it means responsibility. She then tells him that she is sure that she will get what she wants from their relationship, to which he asks her what if he is not able to give it to her. Just then her phone gets a voice message from Akshay, who tells her that he has her book that she forgot in the gym, and he will return it to her when they meet.
Dil Ko Rafu Karr Lei looks like a beautiful story of the never-ending wait for eternal love while diving deep into the complexities of a marriage. Fans have been pouring their love on the trailer.
