March 08, Bengaluru: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Swiggy held a heartfelt celebration lunch at its Koramangala office in Bangalore, dedicated to honoring the remarkable women on its delivery fleet. The lunch was attended by more than 20 women delivery partners with their families and featured a joyous cake-cutting ceremony led by two of the platform’s oldest female delivery partners, K Uma and Malathi, and included bespoke giveaways and hampers as tokens of appreciation.
Mihir Shah, Head of Operations, who was also present at the event, expressed gratitude for the unwavering commitment of these women who shine every day, bringing food, groceries, and a smile to the faces of Bangaloreans.
