In a startling revelation, actor Tanuj Virwani has discovered that his trusted spot-boy of over a decade was allegedly involved in stealing personal belongings from his Mumbai home. The shocking betrayal came to light after Tanuj and his family noticed several items—including foreign currency and luxury watches—going missing over time.
Speaking exclusively on the matter, Tanuj shared,
“Lately, we had been observing that valuable items—including souvenirs from international travels and expensive watches—were disappearing mysteriously. We’ve always chosen to trust our staff and never felt the need to install surveillance cameras at home. That’s the kind of household we are—trusting and inclusive.”
The actor further revealed that the accused had been living with him for years and thus had easy access to the premises. After suspicion grew, the family searched the spot-boy’s belongings and recovered several missing items, though many still remain unaccounted for.
Realizing the seriousness of the situation, the family promptly informed the Mumbai Police, who swiftly responded and took the accused into custody for further questioning.
“Mumbai Police acted promptly and have taken him in for interrogation. I truly believe they’re among the best in the world, and I’m confident they’ll do a thorough job,” Tanuj added.

“What happened with Saif Ali Khan earlier this year was already a wake-up call. No matter how secure your society or building is, the danger could be within your own home. Now that I have a daughter, I need to be even more vigilant—especially given how often I travel for work. It’s heartbreaking on a personal level. He’s been with me since before Inside Edge, and I even posted an appreciation for him on social media once. This betrayal truly hurts.”
